Genoveva Slade

SLADE, Genoveva (?, 1930 – Zagreb, 2001), philosopher, translator.

In 1954, she graduated from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. She was employed at the Miroslav Krleža Institute of Lexicography, and from 1968 till 1990 at the Institute of Philosophy in Zagreb. In 1978, she became research assistant and the procedure for obtaining a doctoral degree was approved. She wrote a book about Benedikt Stay. She was a member of the editorial board of the journal Contributions to the Research into the Croatian Philosophical Heritage. Her articles are published in journals Contributions to the Research into the Croatian Philosophical Heritage and Forum. Her area of interest was Croatian philosophy (Benedikt Stay, Ruđer Josip Bošković).
