ŠKORIĆ, Gordana (Zagreb, 1950), philosopher.
In 1973, she graduated in philosophy and comparative literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. She received her doctoral degree in 1998 from the same University with a thesis The Problem of Metaphor in the Work of Ernesto Grassi. She furthered her studies at the University of Tübingen and University of Potsdam. From1978 till 1986 she was employed at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Zagreb, and then at the Department of Philosophy at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. She is a cofounder of Ernst-Bloch-Gesellschaft. Her area of interest is aesthetics.
