MATAN, Ana (Skopje, Macedonia, ?), philosopher, political scientist.
She graduated from the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb, and she received her doctoral degree in 2006 with a thesis Theory of Political Legitimacy by John Rawls: Legitimation of Authority Between Justification and Consent. She is assistant professor at the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb. From 2014 till 2016 she was the head of the Center for the Study of Ethnicity, Citizenship and Migration. Her areas of interest are liberal political theory and democratic theory.
