Rada Iveković

IVEKOVIĆ, Rada (Zagreb, 1945), philosopher, writer, indologist.

In 1969, she graduated in Indology and English language from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb, and in 1972 she received her doctoral degree from the University of Delhi. She worked at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. She furthered her studies at Banaras Hindu University in Benares in India. She taught at the University of Paris 8, and in 2003 at University Jean Monnet – St. Etienne in Paris. From 2004 till 2010 she was a director of the program at Collège international de philosophie in Paris. Her areas of interest are Indian philosophy, political philosophy, comparative philosophy and philosophy of gender.
