Barabara Ćuk

ĆUK, Barbara (Zagreb, 1974), philosopher.

In 1999, she graduated in comparative literature and philosophy from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. She received her doctoral degree in 2011 from the Faculty of Philosophy of the Society of Jesus in Zagreb with a thesis Metaphysics In the Works of John Duns Scotus – Place, Meaning and Structure of Wonder, Doubt and Questions. She is assistant professor at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Society of Jesus in Zagreb where she teaches the history of philosophy and anthropology. She was a guest lecturer at the postgraduate interdisciplinary doctoral program in Medieval at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. She is member of the Scientific Council of journal Obnovljeni život, and associate of the Publisher Breza. Her areas of interest are medieval philosophy, the tradition of commentaries, Platonism and the mind-body problem.
