ČAKARDIĆ, Ankica (Rijeka, 1977), philosopher.
She graduated in philosophy and Croatian language and literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb in 2002. She received her doctoral degree in 2008 with a thesis The Modern Politics and No-Man. From 2007 she taught at the Department of Cultural Studies at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka. Since 2010 she is employed at the Department of Philosophy at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. She also teaches at the Center for Women's Studies and Center for Peace Studies. Her areas of interest are social philosophy and philosophy of gender.
