Heda Šegvić

ŠEGVIĆ, Heda (Split, 1957. – Cambridge, Great Britain, 2003), philosopher.

She frequented primary school and Classical Gymnasium in Split. She studied at University of Zagreb, University of Beograd, U.C.L.A. in Los Angelses and Columbia University in New York. She received her doctoral degree from the Princeton University. She taught at the University of California – Santa Barbara, Stanford University and University of Pittsburgh. Her areas of interest  were Ancient Greek philosophy, philosophy of science and ethics.
