GUNDULIĆ GUČETIĆ, Marija (Italian: Maria Gondola Gozze) (Dubrovnik, 16th century), author, philosopher.
She was the wife of philosopher and polyhistor Nikola Vitov Gučetić (1549–1610). In the preface of her husband’s work Discorsi di M. Nicolo Vito di Gozze […] sopra le Metheore dʼAristotele, Marija stands in defence of her friend Cvijeta Zuzorić against slander. Marija acted as interlocutor with Cvijeta (around 1552–1648) in the dialogues of Nikola Vitov Gučetić: Dialogo della belezza (A Dialogue on Beauty), dedicated to Cvijeta's sister Nike, as well as Dialogo dʼamore (A Dialogue on Love). Along with Nada Bunić, Julija Bunić i Cvijeta Zuzorić, she was a member of the Dei concordi society in Dubrovnik.
